Manufacturing Warehouse Associates-Smyrna, TN - Full-time

Manufacturing Positions
Volt, in partnership with an electrical parts manufacturer located in Smyrna, TN, is searching for experienced production associates for 1st & 2nd shift. Must be available to work overtime on weekdays and/or some weekends hours are required.

• Assembly- These roles deal with the production a wide range of small parts. Must be comfortable work 8-10 hours shifts. Depending on area standing, stooping, kneeling, some lifting is required. Experience is a production or assembly role that used small hand tools is required.
• Wiring- This role requires routine use of hand tools to wire electrical equipment during the manufacturing process. No Live Voltage. The position is detail oriented and repetitive. The position is partly sitting and standing. Must have 3-6 months experience in a manufacturing position that is has some wiring duties.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of 1-2 years in a manufacturing setting in an assembly, wiring technician or in fabrication. (6 months labor insensitive Manufacturing or Shipping or the paint line positions)
• Ability to read blueprints is a definite plus.
• Stable work history and strong work ethic.
• Must be a self-sufficient employee, but also have the skills to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to be accountable for one's work.
• H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
