Administrative Assistant needed for a successful and growing company relocating to the Irvine CA area. This position will start once they get settled in toward the end of July, but they would like to get the right person selected as soon as possible

Direct Hire opportunity; Salary is flexible depending on experience. Company offers excellent benefits. This is a company that takes great pride in taking very good care of their employees and while the office has less than 10 employees, they do a lot of business so there is always lots going on.

This person will have a mix of duties including supporting the Controller, preparing spreadsheets, sourcing new items and working with vendors on new items. This person will also be checking in with firms and individuals regarding their product development progress. Individual may also have some work in travel arrangements and answering customer service inquiries coming from the web.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

~The most important attributes for the candidate that will do well in this position is their attitude (which includes their character), intelligence and energy level.

~The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, enjoys learning new things and is good at figuring out solutions to problems (i.e. "where can we find a consulting engineer who is an expert in xxxx")

~Strong computer skills. Lots of email, web searches and spreadsheet work.

~Someone who has worked for a small business before so as to understand their environment. Someone who is used to being hands on and doing a variety of things, is always looking for the most efficient way to do something and will have a "big picture" view of most areas of business.
