Become a CAREGiver to a Senior (Rockland County all areas)
Home Instead Senior Care is the world's leading provider of non-medical home companionship & care services. Our Rockland County office is accepting applications for caring, compassionate people who want to make a difference in the life of a senior. Your presence and assistance will help them remain in their homes, independently, as long as possible. No certification required; we train. CAREGiver responsibilities may include providing transportation to appointments and errands, medication reminders, light housekeeping, companionship & social interaction with clients daily. MUST BE licensed driver, have at least 3 years driving experience, have use of reliable car to transport clients & have no driving suspensions or major violations in the last 5 years. Minimum age 21. For the safety of our clients, we will conduct a criminal background check, drug screening and motor vehicle check. CURRENTLY SEEKING: various candidates with full day availability; also, candidates with afternoon into evening availability. Sample shifts times: 12pm-6pm, 4pm-8pm, 1pm-9pm, Consistent availability required. Must include some regular weekend availability, not just fill-ins. Regular shifts are 4 to 6 hours. Some longer shifts too! Steady clients, weekly schedules, not temporary assignments. Supportive office staff. Dementia experience a plus but not necessary.
