THE JOB DETAILS
Bindery Operators are part of a team specializing in print production finishing procedures, such as but not limited to Saddle Stitching, Perfect Binding, Spiral Binding, Stapling, Shrink Wrapping, and Packing. The Bindery's goal is for accuracy, quality, high efficiency, and on time shipping and delivery.
This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position. It is a regular schedule, with two options for schedules:
- Shift 1 (Monday through Friday, 9 AM - 5:30 PM).
- Shift 2 (Sunday through Thursday, 2:30 PM - 11 PM).
Compensation: Starting wage range is $11.50-$13.50/hour, depending on experience, and a competitive benefits package (health insurance after 60 day waiting period, and Paid Time Off).
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Bindery personnel will learn to operate all Bindery machinery, including but not limited to the Horizon SDPF-20 Saddle Stitcher, Horizon BQ-440 Perfect Binder, Count Creaser, Duplo UV Coater, Polar and Challenge Cutters, 3-Hole Drill, Staplers, and Shrink Wrapper. They pack boxes for shipment, stock paper and toner, and help maintain machinery. Additionally, all employees are responsible for keeping the shop clean and organized in accordance with policies and safety standards.
WHAT YOU NEED
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Be able to lift 70+ pounds.
- Work in a fast paced, physical environment.
- Impeccable punctuality and attendance.
- Reliable transportation.
