Growing flooring company is looking to add to their Kent warehouse staff.  The ideal candidate will have a positive and upbeat attitude, will be teachable and always willing to learn.  This position will involve loading and unloading materials, pulling and separating orders, and operating a forklift.  Some table saw operation will also be a requirement to create flooring samples for customers.  Must be willing to help out wherever needed including organizing and cleaning.  This is a temp to hire position with room for growth for the right candidate!

JOB DUTIES:

• Receives general work direction from Warehouse Supervisor
• Picks, packs and stages orders.
• Labels, weighs, measures and records orders
• Verifies physical orders to written documentation and loads onto trucks
• Inspects forklifts and maintains log
• Unloads containers and verifies receiving documents to physical goods received
• Stores received goods using standard inventory instructions or specific instructions received from Supervisor
• Performs Inventory cycle count responsibilities as assigned - counts and records inventory items.
• Performs clean up duties on a regular basis to maintain a safe and well organized work environment
• Coordinates work assignments with a small team of coworkers.
• Sample making
• Assists will call customers in processing orders
• Use of PC and tablet based software to write and process orders and manage inventory
• Answering phone calls from customers
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Good attitude – teachable and desire to learn
• Able to lift up to 90 pounds
• Forklift certification is a plus, but is not required
• Background Check and Drug Screen
• Ability to operate a pallet jack; hand jack; hand truck; table saw; mitter saw
• High school graduate /GED
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Required to work mandatory overtime when requested (seasonal-not excessive)
• Punctual with regular attendance
• Ability to work independently with consistent results: quantity and quality (good pace)
• Ability to work well within a team
• At least 2+ years of Warehouse and Forklift experience

SHIFT: Monday – Friday 9:00 AM Ã¢â‚¬â€œ 5:00 PM with OT as needed

PAY:  $12.00 / hour
