Line Cook - Full-time

Cafe offering unique artisan sandwiches, soups and salads using all healthy ingredients. Must be able to multi-task, work clean, and be creative. The job requires the creation of daily specials, soups, and the day to day obligations of a proper cook. We have an immediate opening for someone that is looking for a full-time kitchen position. Job Requirements:

- 1 or more years' experience cooking in  full service restaurant

- Natural leader

- Must be able to follow directions and recipes clearly

- Must be able to consistently produce high quality dishes as directed

- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds

- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time 

- Be able to tolerate frequent immersion of hands in water and sanitizing solutions

- Must be able to safely and accurately handle kitchen knives and other portioning and food preparation utensils.

- Must be able to properly handle all kitchen equipment and report any equipment that is not functioning

- Must be able to withstand heat in the kitchen (up to 90 degrees) for up to 8 hours
