WAREHOUSE CLERK

Job Description

The Warehouse Clerk works on our warehouse operation helping to ship, receive, sort, and move inventory. Responsibilities include ensuring accuracy in receiving shipments off containers, moving merchandise throughout the warehouse, picking goods to be packed, and packing goods for final shipment to the customer. Must be able to maintain cleanliness throughout the warehouse.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensures cleanliness at all times at the warehouse by sweeping, re-stocking and arranging boxes as well as kitchen area by throwing trash at the end of the day
  • Receives deliveries like pallets or boxes from carriers and ensures items match the packing list.
  • Checks parts received for damages or count discrepancies.
  • Sort, pick, pack and ship parts/orders based on the work orders.
  • Move merchandise throughout the warehouse as necessary.
  • Assist with product testing, repacking, and sorting of defective merchandise.
  • Must do monthly physical count as well as year-end count.
  • Replaces bulbs in the entire office if necessary
  • Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned by the Logistics Manager.
  • Will do some lifting but no more than 20 lbs


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of professional industry experience working in a busy warehouse or distribution facility.
  • Must work well with others
  • Knows to operate a forklift a plus
  • Must be able to work on overtime and Saturday if needed (not often)


This is a temp to hire position and pay rate is $13per hour and job hours 8-430pm
