Perform Sub Arc and Flux Core welding on structural steel (Need to be clean welds)
Using grinders to cut and grind steel
Production welding on bridges
Positions include horizontal, vertical (up) and flat
Very heavy thick gauge welding on structural steel
Standing on feet for 10+ hours at a time
Heavy lifting of steel products up to 75 pounds
3 Openings on 2nd Shift (4 PM to 1 AM in the morning, OT goes to 3:30 AM)
70% of the day will involve either welding or grinding continuously
20% Helping team members lift heavy steel (up to 75lbs.)
10% of the day will involve cleaning around the facility
