Staffmark has an immediate opening for a 1st shift line lead to work at a manufacturing center in Nazareth PA. This position would spend a majority of their time on production work but have some additional tasks assigned to assist with the shift operations.
This person will act as the on-floor line lead for the temporary workforce. Responsibilities will include ensuring the temporary workforce to be consistent on the production floor regarding standard operating procedures in safety, quality, output, cost and inventory control. This position will work closely with the customer's managers.
Duties Include:
-Assist with training new temporary employees by providing on the job training
-Coaching of employees to enusre productivity
-Help with shift start ups, line set up and check in processes
-Helps to ensure work is performed accurately and safely
-Escalate challenges and problems to the customer's management team.
-Fill in on various production tasks when needed, including packing, manual and semi-manual packing duties
-Multitasking a must with 17 lines to monitor
-Hourly Quality Check
-90% of time will be spent on the floor
Hours are Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm
(plus overtime as needed, 50+hours during peak season)

-Must have experience working in a warehouse production based environment (prior supervisory experience a plus)
-Must be able to work overtime as needed
-Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of various programs
-Ability to perform various tasks in production area
