Position Summary

The Customer Support Specialist ensures that all customer needs are promptly addressed by responding to customers’ requests, orders, questions, and concerns in a timely and accurate manner, while exercising the highest level of service and quality.

Qualified candidate for this position must have a passion for excellence, outstanding communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to readily build relationships over the phone. Additionally, a qualified candidate must be quality focused, an effective team player, and motivated to achieve a rewarding career within the organization.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Accurately enters customer data.
  • Addresses basic technical support questions (Website Navigation).
  • Receives inbound calls and responds to calls appropriately.
  • Reads and responds to IT Help Desk email.
  • Promptly resolves customer service issues to the customer’s satisfaction per company procedures and standards.
  • Creates and maintains customer accounts in database.
  • Performs administrative duties, reports, and special projects associated with customer support.


Other skills, abilities, qualifications, and minimum requirements
  • Associate’s degree or 2 years work experience in customer support.
  • Impeccable attention to detail with strong organizational and analysis skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and professional presence.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Innovative problem solver, results minded, and solution focused.
  • Effective team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong keyboarding skills.
  • Highly skilled in Excel (MS Office 2010 or 2013).
