A Community Sales Rep, (CSR) is a sales role, responsible for developing valued-partner relationships directly with community based organizations (CBO), venues and qualified UnitedHealthcare agents for the purpose of creating, enabling and nurturing Dual Special Needs Plan (Dual SNP) opportunities that lead to new Dual SNP membership. The CSR is contracted, licensed, appointed and certified as an agent, while maintaining the highest standards of compliance. 
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Generating Dual SNP opportunities requires a great deal of relationship building with community based organizations, faith based organizations and other venues within the communities that have density in the Dual SNP eligible populations. 
This is a niche market and by necessity the activities undertaken must focus on the places where this population lives and spends time. 
It is the  CSR’s responsibility to identify and cultivate relationships with the leadership/management of those organizations as a “UnitedHealthcare relationship”. 
This will allow ongoing access to conduct presentations and informal sales events that generate leads and new membership. 
In addition, the CSR will work with the existing Community Outreach team, if available, to determine current CBO relationships with whom to engage.
CSR’s partner with multiple sales/distribution channels, leveraging contracted UHC agents and broker agents to drive events and leads, with ultimate success measured by closed sales. 
CSR’s will work with local market sales leadership within both Community & State and Medicare & Retirement to determine agents best suited and interested to sell in the Dual SNP space.
CSR’s have a required monthly sales goal and will be compensated with a base salary and a commission incentive plan, along with clear performance management expectations.
The CSR will track all activities, events, leads and lead progress, sales, appointments, contacts and relationship progress daily through internal systems.

Requirements


Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED
4+ year of Sales experience
Knowledge of community based organization
Able to work in a matrix environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Medicare Advantage and Dual SNP experience
Soft Skills:

Time Management skills
Organizational skills
Able to work with minimal supervision.
Must be goal driven and deliver consistent sustainable performance
