Positions in this function coordinate the processes and activities that focus on restoring service after an incident occurs. Monitors environment health and the facilitation of high severity incidents to improve the state of service availability and continuity. This function also includes those who operate and monitor computer and peripheral equipment. Coordinates the efforts of all functions to complete scheduled jobs in a timely manner. Documents all problems (hardware, application, facility, etc.) and takes corrective action as required. Interfaces with other departments as required.  
  

Primary Responsibilities:


Monitor the environment health and drive improvements to enhance availability and performance

Execute processes and activities that focus on restoring service after an incident occurs

Identify and remediate failed batch and real-time processing events

Participate in an on-call rotation with other team members

Demonstrate a strong understanding of issues, including in-depth technical analysis, troubleshooting, analyzing, root cause and engaging appropriate SMEs as needed to drive incident and problem management

Create and drive permanent solutions and improvements after root cause is identified

Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiencies

Ensure support readiness prior to the deployment of any change to the production environment








Customer service orientation is key. On a daily basis you will collaborate with internal business partners, engineering teams and other technology professionals

Create and Share technical knowledge documentation in a clear and concise way.

Utilize strong technical aptitude on a daily basis with experience in SFTP, Oracle/SQL Databases, UNIX/Linux Operating systems, DB queries, monitoring

Provide release support for code deployments



 

Required Qualifications:


3+ years of technical applications support preferably in a hosted services environment

2+ years of prior work experience maintaining and monitoring automated processes using scheduling tools

2+ years of prior work experience with UNIX based operating systems

2+ years of prior work experience with relational databases

Strong troubleshooting and analysis skills

Ability to anticipate and drive change

Microsoft Office Suite experience required







Preferred Qualifications:
 



Knowledge of Healthcare, Healthcare services, terminology, and process flow

837 File Format and Mapping Knowledge, mapping version knowledge preferred

 Knowledge of data integration tools

ITIL experience including incident, change and problem management

Project Management experience

WESB - WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus

Experience with CMS response File/Data

Undergraduate degree in applicable area of expertise or equivalent experience
