This is a long term position. This contract will go at least one year with the possibility of conversion to direct employment.

Job Description

Technical Writer to write and update technical documents related to a Combat Rescue Helicopter project.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess the ability to work with others on all levels in order to develop clear technical documents that meet requirements/regulations and are easily understood by the intended users. Candidate may interface with OEM personnel and should be comfortable in a highly dynamic office environment.

* Writing technical reports and plans to meet DOD/Armed Forces program requirements
* Writing test plans to meet MIL-STD-810 testing
* Develop Acceptance Test Procedures
* Writing/revising installation instructions for aircraft heater and air conditioner systems
* Qualification Test Plan development
* Writing/revising Instructions for Continued Airworthiness and Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplements for aircraft heater and air conditioner systems
* Coordinate with Management, Engineering, OEM, and customer personnel to determine program requirements
