Job Summary:
The Siebel Technical Client Manager maintain Siebel application environments. This individual will support development and production hosted environments, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate technical changes with Customer Care, infrastructure and networking teams, as well as, other NaviSite technical resources. There is a considerable amount of client contact. Candidates should have experience building, deploying, transitioning and maintaining Siebel applications with SQL Server database.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Architect, recommend to customer, and deploy changes in Siebel application server hardware and software.
  • Analyze current hosted environments and recommend changes for performance benefits, space benefits, and capacity benefits.
  • Ability to recommend changes to customer systems (such as windows patches, application patches, configuration changes, etc.) and be able to produce a project plan that includes preparation, testing, and finally perform the patch application.
  • Identify performance issues within Siebel/SQL server application environments at all levels including network, database, operating system, and application servers. Must be able to take direction from others, as well as, lead and direct the work of peers.
  • Ability to scope, document, present to customer, and implement a complete hosted environment for customers. Must understand Siebel environments well enough to recommend and implement system monitors that will notify appropriate parties in the event supported applications are unavailable.
  • Proactively monitor hosted systems for performance and perform daily administration tasks to ensure 100% uptime of application environments.
  • Must be flexible enough to provide support to hosted customers and work on development projects as time permits.

What We Are Looking For:
  • Expert knowledge of management and architecture for the Siebel applications,
  • 6-8 years of Siebel implementations and technical operations
  • Hands on Siebel 8.1.1.9 to IP 2015 upgrade experience
  • Siebel 8.1.1.9 experience with Siebel Utilities (e.g., DB configuration, Server Manager)
  • Prior experience with Siebel 8.1.1.9 (or earlier) installation
  • MS SQL Server – 2008 R2
  • Windows Server Enterprise: 2008 R2 / 2012 R2 including experience with Cluster Management
  • IIS 7.0
  • Siebel environment performance tuning
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills for Siebel Application upgrade and general support issues encountered
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well both independently and in coordination with project team members and customer
  • Performance tuning proficiency
  • Experience with large and complex Siebel environments with multi language, clusters, and multiple application and web servers.
    • Nice to Have: Microsoft Dynamics CRM applications.
    • OBIEE 11G / DAC / Informatica (INFA)
