Join us and start doing your life's best work.SMThe Appeals Representative Associate is responsible for providing expertise or general support to teams in reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating and resolving all types of appeals and grievances. Primary Responsibilities:Research and resolve written complaints and complex or multi-issue provider complaints submitted by consumers and physicians/providers.Communicate with appropriate parties regarding appeals and grievance issues, implications and decisions.Analyze and identify trends for appeals and grievances.Apply knowledge/skills to basic, repeated activities.Respond to standard requests and solve routine problems by following established procedures.Work with others as part of a team and have work reviewed by others.Positions in this function are responsible for providing expertise or general support to teams in reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating and resolving all types of appeals and grievances.Communicates with appropriate parties regarding appeals and grievance issues, implications and decisions.Analyzes and identifies trends for all appeals and grievances.May research and resolve written Department of Insurance complaints and complex or multi-issue provider complaints submitted by consumers and physicians/providers

Requirements

Requirements:
 

High School Diploma or GED
1+ year of Customer Service Experience in a call center environment analyzing and solving customer problems OR 1+ year of experience in a Corporate environment
Must be able to create and modify documents within Word
Must be able to create and modify spreadsheets within MS Excel.
You will be required to work an 8 hour shift - starting between 6am - 11am EST.  You will be allowed to pick your own schedule but must keep it for 3 months at a time.  10 hours of overtime per week per business need will be required and you will need to be available to work rotating Saturdays and Sundays and Holidays.
Assets:

Experience with Healthcare/Medicare Terminology
Managed Care and previous Appeals/Grievances experience
