Maintenance Mechanic

In this position you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventative maintenance on Packaging equipment

Must Have:

• Mechanical Pneumatic
• 480 volts

Shifts available on1st, 2nd and 3rd!

1st shift: 7am - 3:30pm

2nd shift: 10am - 6:30pm

3rd shift: 6pm - 2am

A LOT of overtime!!

Job Duties will include:

• Perform PM on all equipment (Conveyors, Gear Boxes, motors, Fillers, cappers, labelers, mixers, blenders).
• Adjust wrappers
• Perform preventative maintenance on High speed packaging equipment.
• Repair Refridgeration equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Mechanical and electrical (circuit) troubleshooting (120-480 volt, AC/DC motors).
• Mechanical adjustments, electrical troubleshooting.
• Perform changeovers, start ups, shut downs, and some set ups.
• Utilize shop equipment such as drill press, lathes, and various hand and power tools.
• Document all mechanical/electrical adjustments to equipment.
• Working with pneumatics and some hydraulics.
• Follow a job plan to complete work orders No programming needed.
• Abide by all SOP/GMP requirements.
• Clean work station daily.
• Other things may be asked of this candidate as well.

Food manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Anyone who may have worked in cosmetics or pharmaceuticals would be a good fit as well!
