JOB DESCRIPTION

We're currently seeking an Accounting Specialist for a contract opportunity in Plano, TX with our partner,  one of the leading providers of title insurance, technology and transaction services to the real estate and mortgage industries. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative environment for one of the nation's largest title insurance companies.


Responsibilities:

  • Will act as the accounting team leader
  • Ability to direct workload
  • Ability to resolve discrepancies or issues for staff for a variety of accounting functions, including but not limited to 10 key, alpha and numeric, processes agent funds, payment of vendor invoices for recordings, reconciliation of escrow file incoming and outgoing funds, collection of revenue, client dispute resolution, refunds to clients, agency accounting, agency account reconciliation.

Education/Experience

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Requires attention to detail
  • This person needs banking access.

Additional Information:

  • This is a 3+ month assignment.
  • The hours are Monday through Friday 9 am to 6 pm.
