About this job
Aerotek is currently hiring for a construction project administrator with a large electrical contractor in Portland.
This project admin will be responsible for record keeping, data entry, document preparation, presentation development, meeting coordination, and special projects.
Other responsibilities and job functions include:
* Provide administrative support for project manager.
* Process permits, contracts, billings, weekly time cards, change orders, subcontracts, lien waivers, submittals, freight claims, and operation and maintenance manuals.
* Update Spectrum with estimates, contract changes, subcontracts, phasing, and cost projections.
* General Job set up: on and off site.
Ideal candidate background:
- 1-5 years experience working in the construction industry (electrical contracting a huge plus)
- very strong excel skills
- able to handle multiple tasks at once
- experience handling change orders, RFI's, etc. for submittals
- able to work with senior project mangers, to engineers, etc.
This position pays $18-$20/hour.
