The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for answering incoming calls/completing
outbound calls to/from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a
high level of customer service and maximizing productivity.

Primary Responsibilities:Â
Entering prescriptions and
verifying appropriate information Contacting patients,
pharmacists and doctor's offices to resolve claims issues Processing prescriptions (from
intake to order completion) Resolving customer issues;
ensuring accurate information is providedConstantly meet established
productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards while maintaining
a good attendance record

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
High School
diploma or GED.Knowledge
of computer operations and Windows PC applications, which includes the
ability to navigate in software package used to track Pharmacy transactions
after training.Available
to work 40 hours per week and overtime as required according to the needs
of the business including working 1-2 Saturdays per Month.Â
Preferred
Qualifications:
Â
2 yrs.’
experience Pharmacy/ prescription data entry experience in Retail Pharmacy
environmentBilingual
in English and any other languageCurrent Pharmacy Tech. Certification
Soft skills:
Â
Ability to
remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitiveAbility to
clearly and effectively communicate with Patients and Doctor’s offices via
telephone.
Physical Requirements and Work
Environment:
Frequent speaking, listening using a
headset, sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other
objects, long periods of close vision looking at a computer monitor
Service center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives
talking, computers, printers, floor activity
