Counter Attendant - Shaved Ice

Popular local food and beverage concessionaire seeks reliable and friendly Counter Attendants to staff food concession stands at various events in the Inland Empire (Perris, Riverside, Corona, Moreno Valley, Lake Elsinore, Temecula, etc.). Shifts are 6-8 hours. Mostly Saturdays and Sundays. 

Events range from local fairs and corporate functions to private fund raising events. From Hawaiian Shave Ice to Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs Stands, everyone loves quality concession foods! Ideal candidates will greet customers with enthusiasm, prepare customer orders and complete transactions in a speedy and accurate manner.

Duties include

• Learn and perform procedures for a variety of food stand concessions (training is provided)
• Set up and tear down
• Ensure applicable food handling regulations are followed
• Prepare concession foods which may include Shave Ice Cream, Bacon Wrapped Hot dogs, Nachos, Churros, Sausages, Chips, Candy, hot & Cold Beverages, Lemonade and more.
• Greet customers and up-sell products
• Handle cash and credit transactions

Minimum Requirements

• Food / hospitality industry experience preferred, but not required
• Outgoing personality able to deal with the general public
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job - Standing for extended periods
• Available on weekends
• Riverside County Food Handler Card ()
• Reliable transportation to and from events
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
