Commercial Insurance Sales Rep - Full-time / Part-time

Job Duties:

• Accountable for identifying, attracting and converting prospects into clients and achieving growth and retention goals of the agency
• Responsible for analyzing risks, designing insurance protection programs, and helping clients achieve their financial goals.
• Responsible for developing relationships of caring and trust.
• Responsible for underwriting for profitability.

Job Details and Qualifications:

This position will require up to 60% local travel to meet with current and prospective clients. There will also be occasional 5% travel to attend license re-certification and continuing education.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of Sales Experience in a Commission based sales role. They must also bring a hunter mentality in order to identify and sell to new businesses and commercial accounts that have not yet been sold by the agency.

The person selected will get referrals from other producers in the company, but will mostly be required to identify new business opportunities on their own.

A big plus for this role will be any knowledge of the Agricultural industry, as many of the clients are in farming or Agricultural related
