Baked by Melissa is seeking Assistant General Managers to help lead our teams! As the Assistant General Manager, you are the copilot to the General Manager; you offer guidance, you are dependable, and your team relies heavily on you to make the best business decisions. You will partner with General Manager to create an environment in which customers will have an extraordinary experience allowing your team to thrive and your sales to reflect the positive atmosphere you've created.
Essential Responsibilities:
● Management: manages the daily operation of the store alongside the General Manager, focusing on store sales performance, employee leadership and development, customer service, and product quality; maintains a highly ethical, team-driven, and customer-focused work environment
● Metrics: tracks and monitors store performance metrics, including sell-through rate, labor cost, employee turnover rate, productivity, average order, and sales comp
● Employee Development: trains all store employees in Baked by Melissa policies, protocols, and product knowledge; implements new and recurring training programs
● Scheduling: creates and maintains employee schedule; manages employee shift trades and time off requests; ensures staffing level facilitates maximum productivity with minimal excess labor cost
