Description
We take pride in our restaurant and the products we serve. At all times, we expect our Servers to adhere to Rafferty's Teamwork System in an effort to insure have a great experience when dining in our restaurant.
Requirements
● Maintain a Guest focus AND a positive attitude while performing all duties to insure “NO UNHAPPY GUESTS, NOT EVEN ONE”
● Operate within the Rafferty's Teamwork Service System at all times by being ready and willing to assist Management and fellow Associates before they ask
● Assume 100% responsibility for our guests' quality experience
● Project an out-going and friendly personality at all times.
● Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
● Exhibit complete menu knowledge - Be able to answer questions regarding our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
● Welcome and greet guests within 45 seconds of their being seated.
● Perform Food Checks within 2 minutes
● Notify manager-on-duty any time a guest is not 100% satisfied with their experience.
● Able to recommend specific beverage, appetizer, entrée and desserts items
● Take accurate food and beverage orders and accurately enter in our POS system.
● Buss and Pre-bus tables as part of the Rafferty's Teamwork Service System
● Perform side work during each shift as required by service station assignment.
● Open and/or close the restaurant following the appropriate procedures for restaurant set-up, breakdown, and cleanliness.
● Maintain a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelving, walls, floors and all service-related equipment
● Able to meet local minimum age requirements for being a server
● Able to acquire required local permits/licenses required for serving
● Able to handle money in an accurate and timely fashion
● Able to work in a fast paced high volume restaurant environment.
● Comply with all company guidelines regarding Food Safety and Personal Safety
● Completes required tasks within assigned time frames
● Assists in other areas of the restaurant performing maintenance, cleanliness and/or other duties during as assigned
● Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently
● Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
