About this job

The Assistant Manager like the Sales Associate is primarily responsible for delighting the customer in a way that makes them come back tomorrow. However, along with the Sales Associate duties there are a few more responsibilities that the Assistant Manager performs that will help accomplish that mission statement. This by the way is, delight the customer in a way that makes them come back tomorrow. Here are a few of the things you'll be doing:

● Checking out customers (fast, friendly, and accurate!)
● Brewing delicious coffee (we're a little bit bias about how good our coffee is!)
● Cleaning and maintaining restrooms (so clean, your mother would be proud!)
● Stocking the coolers and shelves with merchandise (we can't sell it if we don't have it!)
● Emptying trash cans (ok, not glamorous but even the President does it!)
● Picking up trash in the parking lot (see above!)
● Cleaning the fuel dispensers (who wants to buy fuel from a dirty dispenser?!)
● Mopping the floor (its good exercise and it delights the customer!)
● Putting receipt paper in the fuel dispensers (because customers don't want to have to come inside for a receipt!)
● Checking in Vendors (someone has to do it!)
● Coaching Sales Associates to Delight the Customer (see mission statement)
● Assisting Store Manager (we all can use a little help!)
● Preparing to become a Store Manager (who doesn't want to be promoted!)
● There are lots of other things that you will learn and do on your shifts at Roadrunner. We always try to learn better ways to get our jobs done, so being flexible is definitely a requirement!
