UnitedHealth Care is seeking an experienced administrative professional to support both the UnitedHealthcare (UHC) Chief Information Officer (CIO), and the UHC EVP of Operations, as well as support of leaders within the organization. A strong executive presence, organizational aptitude, and excellent verbal and written communication skills using multiple modalities are essential in this role.  Team members can expect a challenging and fast-paced environment, and will be expected to be flexible in the tasks assigned to them.
 
Primary Responsibilities:


Support Executives of UnitedHealth Group in a fast paced environment.  Be proactive in determining needs of the leader and be creative in solutions to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the leaders

Take on small projects and initiates in support of the executive leader

Interact with individuals at all levels of the organization, supporting in an office management capacity and supporting indirect team

Schedule and set-up resources and technology needed for meetings and events, e.g., conference rooms, catering, WebEx, tele-presence

Compile and/or integrate information needed to complete reports and documents

Review documents to ensure accuracy and quality, and revise as needed

Manage office documents in accordance with enterprise records management procedures

Answer incoming calls and facilitate handling of requests for information

Evaluate calls in terms of importance and use independent judgment to take action

Make meeting arrangements and coordinate changes in meeting schedules taking into consideration International time zones and logistics for international participants

Manage calendars, coordinate travel arrangements, prepare expense reports

Independently perform varied administrative duties related to functional areas

Greet visiting clients, guests and employees

Read incoming mail and triage in priority order, highlighting important items or requests for action

Answer and triage incoming calls for Executive leader.  Evaluate the calls in terms of importance and use independent judgment to take action

Support a teaming atmosphere with leaders and administrative support peers
 

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


High school diploma

5+ years of administrative experience, preferably 3 recent years of support for senior level executives

Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (creating and editing; specifically Word, and Excel, and PowerPoint). Basic knowledge of Visio.

Experience coordinating meetings, including WebEx virtual meetings and teleconferences

Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously with strong attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication and grammatical skills

Must have a polished demeanor and be comfortable working with people at all levels

Have a positive team orientated attitude

Experience coordinating domestic travel

Experience supporting multiple executives within a fast-pace, matrix environment
 
Preferred Qualifications:


Bachelor’s Degree

Experience coordinating international travel
