About this job

REQUIREMENTS: Part-time position providing a high level of marketing support with a focus on continuing education and tradeshow events. The Marketing Coordinator works closely with the Senior Event Coordinator and provides the required digital and material support for continuing education events and tradeshows.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Assist the Sr. Event Coordinator in the planning, execution and follow up of continuing education events.
  • Responsible for the distribution of demonstration materials, hands-on and hand-outs to the salesforce for seminars and tradeshows.
  • Manages company's online education registration and education certification program.
  • Assist in digital seminar registration and record keeping based on the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry standards under the supervision of the Senior Event Coordinator.
  • Assists with automated marketing initiatives using SalesForce.
  • Liaise with graphic designers, temp agencies, free-lance contributors and travel agents.
  • Works collaboratively with shipping and receiving.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • 4-year experience in business administration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Able to work individually as well as part of a team.
  • Good time management and planning skills
  • Able to meet multiple project deadlines and demonstrate good attention to detail.
  • Experience with Adobe Suite and SalesForce would be advantageous.

Proficient using the latest version of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and mail merges; email and web searches.
