Home Instead Senior Care in Evansville is looking for their next OPERATIONS MANAGER.  Do you have a passion for seniors? Do you enjoy guiding team members in service delivery? Do you thrive in a fast paced environment?  The Operations Manager is charged with supervising and coordinating the daily functions of the administrative staff in the Scheduling and HR Departments.  As the leading provider of non-medical in home services to seniors in the Tristate area, we employ a large number of CAREGivers and place them with clients in Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey and Gibson counties.  General office hours are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.  Due to 24/7 service delivery, after hours work is necessary to provide support to clients and employees.

Will need to function as a confident leader and team player.  Requires a mature, professional person with management experience and  strong interpersonal and  communication skills. College education and experience in management, health administration and/or HR preferred.

Primary tasks include:
-Supervise Scheduling and HR Department staff  to ensure their primary tasks are being completed. Includes monitoring performance of 6 direct reports, providing training, coaching & disciplining,  recruitment & hiring of new staff.
-Ensure all operations protocols are being followed and company standards are being met. 
-Monitor unassigned client shift report and ensure shifts are covered.
-Coordinate on-boarding and staffing of new clients.
-Maintain attendance records, schedules & time off requests for HR, Scheduling and On Call staff; ensure appropriate coverage for regular business hours, after hours & holiday coverage.
-Provide backup support for After Hours On Call staff.
-Monitor, mediate and log client service concerns; resolve problems.
-Conduct weekly Department staff meetings.
 
Secondary tasks include:
-Supplement primary tasks of direct reports.
-Strategic planning for recruitment and retention of CAREGivers.
-Assist in quarterly CAREGiver Open House planning.
-Conduct Client Inquiry Calls and Care Consultations.
-Function as emergency fill-in CAREGiver.
-Compile and turn in weekly and monthly stats to Director of Operations.
-Conduct supervision meetings with individual reports.
-Assist Director of Operations in payroll tasks for admin staff.
