About this job

Great leaders don’t set out to be a leader – they set out to make a difference.

That’s why Seasons Pizza, an established fast-casual restaurant group that is growing rapidly in the DE/MD/PA/NJ area, is seeking positive, self-motivated, ambitious, and creative General Managers (GM) that can empower and lead their teams to greatness.

For a list of our locations, please visit www.seasonspizza.com and select Locations.

Job Description:

Seasons Pizza General Managers have significant responsibility not only for coordinating all day to day operations of the restaurant, but for so much more. Our COO says it perfectly:  We owe it to the communities that we serve to rise above ourselves and to become a company that devotes resources to educating, motivating and inspiring all the people that we come into contact with, both in front of and behind the counter.

Above all, your primary mission every day will be to develop and coach our team members and ensure our customers have unparalleled experiences. GMs are responsible for overall store operations and are the leader in the store day to day. You could go from hiring, creating and managing employee schedules, to training and motivating team members, to investigating and resolving customer issues, to packing customer orders, all in the course of one day (or hour!). Other typical responsibilities include managing budgets, labor and costs, inventory and asset management, facility and equipment maintenance, and ensuring all health and safety regulations are met and exceeded.  At Seasons Pizza, our General Managers also plan and contribute to sales and marketing strategies and implement advertising and promotional campaigns to increase business. Where else would you get the opportunity to play the role of an entrepreneur in a large company? We promise you’ll never be bored!

Qualifications:

The ideal candidates have the following education, experience and talents, and while you may not be an expert in every aspect of the job description, we encourage you to apply if you meet our minimum qualifications and have a “non-traditional” background.

Education: Undergraduate degree (bachelor’s), preferably in Hospitality. MBA preferred.

Experience:

  • Three or more years of prior management experience in a restaurant or food-oriented retail environment, either as a multi-unit leader or large single unit GM.
  • Knowledge of service standards, food and beverage controls, and operational efficiencies is important.
  • Prior experience managing budgets, labor controls and inventory is preferred.
  • Physical: Applicants must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Work Schedule:  Weekend and evening availability is a must.

Why You’ll Love Working at Seasons Pizza

We’re a family and every new team member is welcomed as such - we care deeply about our employees and we believe in treating each other as friends and peers, not just employees and bosses.

We work hard and we play hard. While you’ll be expected to do a great job in the restaurant, we want you to have a life outside of work and we want you to enjoy it! Most businesses say this, but we actually DO it. And don’t worry, we also have a lot of fun at work, from our Halloween costume parties to holiday events and community involvement.

The food matters (a lot). If you appreciate the value of a good meal with good people, you’ll fit right in. We pride ourselves on quality food made by passionate, creative people.

We believe in supporting the Seasons family. Our managers, leaders and owners are always available and interested in hearing your feedback and ideas, which frequently result in great new programs and menu items across the company. Seasons

Pizza team members also get to participate in a variety of company-supported activities including off-site management meetings, training sessions, holiday parties, community events and more.

We’re not afraid of a little healthy competition. We like to keep things interesting

(and fun!), so there are always plenty of internal contests that you can use to earn

yourself some pretty sweet prizes and bonuses.

We offer great benefits, including a strong health care plan. All General Managers receive generous salaries, paid vacation, sick and personal time (including a summer weekend time off plan) and perks such as free shift meals, discounts on menu items and Seasons gear and merchandise. GMs also participate in our bonus program that is based on store performance. You know what else? We know everyone has personal obligations outside of work, so we work hard to make sure schedules are balanced and reasonable.

If you think you would be a great addition to the Seasons Family and you can show us why, please apply!
