A Job that Nurtures the Soul Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate Home Health Aides to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout Brevard County. Build a lasting relationship and help brighten the lives of aging adults in our community. Join Home Instead Senior Care as we provide a variety of personal care non-medical services that allows seniors to remain in their home as long as possible and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. Our Home Health Aides have an opportunity to really make a difference in someone's life and so we are looking for people we would consider to look after our own loved one.
Home Health Aide duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assistance with personal care
- Assistance with ADL's
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Incidental transportation
Requirements to be a Home Instead Senior Care Home Health Aide:
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate wit clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug schreen
- Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance
- Must be at least 21 years of age
