A successful Inventory Business Analyst will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred; plus previous experience in operational support and telecom/media or other technical industry experience is nice to have, with a focus on operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have excellent facilitation skills, very strong follow through abilities and must have strong ownership of projects and tasks
  • Must have the ability/experience to recommend solutions to issues and risks
  • Proficiency with Excel, Project, Word, Access etc.

DISH is looking for an Inventory Business Analyst to join our In-Home Services division to support our inventory operations.  This analyst will focus on supporting inventory operations within the field organization which consists of over 150 field locations and over $60 Million of inventory.  Assignments will include analytic support for inventory operations, process improvement initiatives, and system troubleshooting.  The ideal candidate will have a background in operational support and experience with data analysis. Prior experience in a business support role is beneficial.

 

Primary Responsibilities fall into the following categories:

  • Build relationships enterprise wide, and successfully work across departments to coordinate and communicate with various groups and key players
  • Analyze inventory consumption, forecast, and replenishment data to provide guidance to field locations
  • Communicate with employees in field locations in written and spoken communication
  • Responsible for documenting business processes and updating documents as required
  • Support field location operations by trouble shooting system errors and providing direction
  • Work collaboratively with other departments within DISH to implement new business processes
