Mold Setter - Full-time / Part-time

We are currenlt seeking mold setters in a fast paced plastics environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set-up molds and trouble shoot molding machines to bring parts into specifications for size, appearance, flash, splay, cycle time, etc.
• Aid in the production areas as needed to perform mold changes & process trouble shooting
• Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects in order to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, to release production if required.
• Perform material changes as required, clean Material Grinders, Loaders, Filters.
• Must be able to operate/set up thermolators, sprue pickers, conveyors, dryers, grinders, grinders, and any other equipment as required.
• Develop and maintain standard operator instructions and process set-up sheets.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement with molds, presses, change overs, etc.

Qualifications:

• 2 - 3 years experience performing setups and changeovers
• Good troubleshooting and processing abilities
• Basic knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Ability to use any hand tools as needed
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
