Active Staffing is looking for a talented and motivated recruiters to join our team. Our recruiters work with our clients, managers and others to identity, screen, and interview, present and hire qualified candidates for temporary, temp to perm and permanent positions.
Qualified Candidates for the Recruiter Position will:
- Partnering with managers to determine staffing needs
- Evaluate candidates strengths compared with clients’ requirements
- Performing in-person and phone interviews with candidates
- Negotiate wage rates and other terms and conditions of employment with candidates
- Performing pre-employment processes including reference and background checks
- Making recommendations to company hiring managers
- Manage contract employees while on assignment. Investigate client related problems
- Work with manager to identify top accounts and assess client staffing requirements
- Maintaining relationships with industry contacts to provide customer service, gain industry knowledge, gain referrals and sales leads.
- Staying current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
- Communicate effectively with others in order to create a productive and diverse environment
- Communicate with peers by sharing best practices and providing accurate, thorough documentation on contract employees in our systems and other documentation tools
Job Requirements:
2- 3 years of recruitment experience
Must possess strong written and communication skills
Must be available to work before/after typical office hours as work may demand
Detail oriented and highly organized
Must be a team player and self-motivated
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with the capacity to regularly use good judgment
