The
Associate Rating Technician is responsible for providing manual rates
to the Sales and Underwriting teams for new business and renewals. This
individual will provide initial quotes to ancillary requests within
allowable limits. They will analyze health benefit plan characteristics
and assess risks around frequency and potential severity of losses to
our client base.Positions in this function are responsible for
providing manual rates to the Sales and Underwriting teams for new
business and renewals. May also provide initial quotes to ancillary
requests within allowable limits.Primary Responsibilities:
Extensive work experience within own function.Work is frequently completed without established procedures.Works independently.May act as a resource for others. May coordinate other's activities.

Requirements

Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED1+ year previous experience in customer service, claims processing, provider support, or related experienceBasic level of proficiency with MS Word
(creating documents, using spell check, grammar check, entering
information into forms/templates)Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Excel (data entry, sorting/filtering, formulas, and basic tables)Basic level of proficiency with MS Outlook (e-mail, calendar management, establishing folders)
Preferred Qualifications:
