Reefer Service Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is seeking qualified candidates for the position Maintenance Tech/Reefer Service Tech with a local, well established company in Springfield, MO.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of Refrigeration units and auxiliary power units Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify all components Positive interface with service writers, leadership team, parts department, drivers, vendors and customers Keep paper work updated and handed in upon completion Meet requirements for certifications Communicate effectively with customers Work safely and follow company safety standards Maintain a high standard of cleanliness

Perform various other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

608 EPA Certification Type 2 Must have your own set of general tools Ability to work with diagnostic computers for troubleshooting and repairs Use computers for web-based training and work order system Must be physically able to lift and work with no restrictions in a shop environment Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record; CDL A preferred, or the ability to obtain A CDL Exposure to noise, heat, cold, shop conditions

Candidates need to be open to 2nd shift
