Supervisor - Sr. Business Analyst - OptumRx - Telecommute - Full-time / Part-time

Support short and long term operational / strategic business activities - by developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information and models. We have an opportunity for a Supervisor - Senior Business Analyst leading part of the BPI Team with Optum Rx. This is a strategic analysis role that requires technical expertise with data analysis in addition to team supervisory duties. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining reporting required to produce new ad-hoc and long-term reporting in support of HDP Operations and Capital Improvement projects for 2016. This role is available for telecommuters. Primary Responsibilities:

Produce leading edge forecasting and analytics to guide the business
Ability to gain insights and knowledge from historical data and trends
Review the approaches to complex business problems
Produce effective analytics that yield large improvements for the business
Serve as an expert who will lead transformational business change based on solid analytics and recommendations
Serve as a mentor to junior team members
Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed
Works with less structured, more complex issues
Supervising day to day activities of the existing team

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics or related field
Skilled with reporting analytics and forecasting tools such as SQL, EViews, etc.
3+ years of Business Analysis experience
3+ years of experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements
Preferred Requirements:

Previous staff supervisory experience
