Professional Pet Sitter/Dog Walker Wanted!

Looking for another petsitter/dog walker to join our team!
PERKS of the job: flexible schedules, fresh air, built in exercise, lots of furry kisses and appreciative clients!

This is an independent contractor position where you would be offered approx $10-$18/hour (depending on visits completed) plus tips. This is a great part time position for supplemental income. Our regular walkers average between $200 and $400 per week in compensation although more is possible over time depending on how much work you'd like to do.

Ideally we are in need of someone located in or very close to the following towns: Media, Aston, Glen Mills, Springfield.

Although this is a fun and very rewarding job with the best clients ever (both human and furry), it's not for everyone. Please read the requirements carefully and do not apply if you can't meet them.

REQUIREMENTS: 
-Must be available during the following times:
Monday - Friday 10:30 - 3pm
Some morning and evenings
Weekends - at least 2 per month (most of the year, this work is limited; most busy during the summer season)

-Must be interested in long-term commitments as our clients are looking for stability (no summer jobs available at this point). Please Do NOT apply if you are looking for temporary work while you look for another position. Please DO NOT apply if you want to "try this out to see how it goes". 

-Must be available most holidays (we are a pet sitting company - clients depend on us to take care of their pets when they are away); On holidays, the visits are split up among all sitters so usually you would only be required to do a small amount of visits. If you like to go away often, this is not the position for you! 

-Must love and be comfortable and physically able to handle ALL types of pets - large and small! 
Professional experience (vet tech, pet sitter, rescue worker, etc) is a plus but not required.

-Should be a people person, be professional, and have excellent written and verbal skills for communicating with our clients and with the office 

-Should be extremely reliable and dedicated - animals depend on us no matter what! It is understood that calling out is a rarity. Clients prefer the same person for every visit and we do our best to accommodate. We schedule our appointments and other commitments around the pet sitting whenever possible.  

-Must live/work within the service area of Delaware County (above towns are preferred for this opening). You are not compensated for your travel time so it is imperative that you live near the clients; Must be okay with driving as you will generally be driving 10-15mns from client to client.

-Must have a working cell phone with texting capabilities and access to a computer with internet; must be comfortable using an online schedule system

-Must be organized (you will need to keep track of your own schedule, maintain client info. and keys, etc)

-Must have a good overall positive attitude and willingness to help others in the team

-Must be willing to submit to a background check

-Must have your own car
