HAS KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF DAILY ASSIGNMENTS AND UNIT ACTIVITIES. ANSWERS CALL LIGHT IN A TIMELY MANNER TO DETERMINE NEEDS AND ACCEPTS ASSIGNMENTS FROM THE CHARGE NURSE.
PROVIDES PERSONAL HYGIENE AND COMFORT MEASURES TO PATIENTS AS DIRECTED AND DOCUMENTS IN MEDICAL RECORD. OBTAINS WEIGHTS AS NEEDED, PROVIDES COMPLETE OR PARTIAL BATHS, INCLUDING SHOWERS AND ORAL HYGIENE.
ASSISTS IN THE MAINTENANCE OF ADEQUATE NUTRITION AND DOCUMENTS IN THE MEDICAL RECORD. SERVES BETWEEN MEAL SNACK/SUPPLEMENTS AS ORDERED. ASSISTS PATIENTS WITH MEALS, FEEDING IF NECESSARY.
MAINTAINS A CLEAN AND SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR PATIENT AND SELF. USES PROPER HANDWASHING TECHNIQUES AND USES STANDARD PRECAUTIONS AT ALL TIMES. REMOVES ALL UNNECESSARY EQUIPMENT FROM PATIENT'S ROOM. KEEPS BED IN LOW POSITION AT ALL TIMES WITH WHEELS LOCKED.
