We need experienced RNs to serve at Mercy Hospital-Ardmore! Mercy is a community of professionals serving people's health care needs through hospitals, physician practices, and a variety of outpatient locations and services in the Midwest. We are driven by a common mission begun by the Sisters of Mercy who founded our ministry. We share a passion to get health care right for those we serve today.

Position Qualifications:

We require a nursing degree from an accredited school. You'll also need a current RN license in our state. Basic life support training should be completed in 90 days with advanced training required at certain intervals.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

Education: Is a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Licensure: Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Oklahoma.

Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certification.

Other: Successful completion of the hospital approved medication test. Demonstrates competency by successful completion of orientation competency assessment and verification form and department specific orientation within the first three months of employment.Responsible for utilizing the Institute of Medicine's "6 Quality Improvement Aims" as an organized approach to creating service excellence in care/services (Safe, Timely, Efficient, Effective, Equitable, and Patient Centered Demonstrates professional conduct and development. Able to learn and react quickly. Competent to make certain independent decisions concerning the quality and accuracy of the procedures performed. The RN functions autonomously and is responsible for the direction of the health care team and overall plan of care for the patient. Must be able to engage in technical conversation involving discussion with physicians, nurses, patients, families/significant others and co-workers.
