Purpose:
To repair, refurbish, and maintain vehicles within a budget to provide the most affordable vehicle options for our customers. The Big Lot - Car Credit is a subprime "Buy Here, Pay Here" dealership that specializes in helping customers with credit problems.
Job Duties:
- Perform Work Outlined by Repair Order with Efficiency and Accuracy
- Perform Work within Dealership Standards
- Accurately Diagnosing Issues and Recommending Repairs
- Keeping Vehicles Clean
- Road Testing Vehicles to Ensure Proper Performance
- Documenting Work Performed
- Providing Different Repair Options Depending on Specific Situation
- Keeping an Organized and Clean Work Area
- Assist or Lead as Needed to Ensure Successful Dealership Operation
Outcomes:
- Recognized as Team Player within 30 Days
- Recognized as Dependable and Trustworthy
Compensation:
Hourly - $17.00 - $25.00/hr. depending on skill level
Typical Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 7:00 pm, Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm
Skills/Qualifications:
- High School Degree or Equivalent Required
- One Year Previous Experience in a Dealership or Independent Shop, Five Years' Experience Preferred
- Bilingual language skills (English/Spanish) is preferred
- ASE Certifications Preferred
- Motor Vehicle Inspector License Required
- Valid Driver's License
