Job Summary: The Maintenance Person is responsible for performing preventive and repair maintenance on equipment, buildings and grounds in accordance with TPI standards.
Essential Job Duties:
- Receives direction and prioritization of projects from supervisor.
- Conducts preventive maintenance according to schedules and documents maintenance done.
- Performs repair maintenance on equipment, buildings and grounds.
- Performs routine electrical and plumbing repair.
- Repairs heating and air conditioning as needed.
- Performs finish work as needed.
- Makes deliveries and pick-ups.
- Makes visual inspections of building grounds continually.
- Performs routine carpenter work as needed.
- Performs pool and spa testing of chemicals, records levels and adds chemicals as needed.
- Performs service work and routine inspections on vehicles.
- Remains on-call 24 hours in case problems arise.
- Performs repairs on pool heaters and pumps.
- Maintains tools and order in shop and storage areas.
- Cuts lawns, trims and edges around walks, and does other lawn maintenance.
- Removes snow from walks and driveways with various equipment or shovels.
- Spreads Ice Melt on public passage ways to prevent ice buildup and ensures guest/ associate safety.
- Paints and shampoos, etc., when assigned.
- Operates power equipment, i.e., mowers, blowers, plows, etc., in a safe fashion.
- Communicates issues, concerns, complaints, compliments and suggestions to the management of the organization and not to other associates, guests, etc.
- Supports the company's Mission Statement, Vision Statement, philosophy, policies and procedures.
- Does whatever it takes to create OUTRAGEOUS GUEST SERVICE.
Requirements
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent education.
Must have at least 6 months of prior experience.
