Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.
We are currently looking for CAREGivers for overnight care for clients in Burien, West Seattle and South Seattle: 7 pm - 7 am shifts. 3 days a week.
We are also looking for care for a client in Beacon Hill, 8 am - 8 pm and overnight 8 pm- 8 am. 3 days or nights a week.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Companionship and conversation
Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
Medication and appointment reminders
Assistance with grooming and bathing
Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
We prefer candidates with current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Care Aide (HCA) credentials, but we will help those with significant experience to obtain their Home Care Aide certification. We also prefer candidates that have a reliable vehicle, a clean driving record, and live in or very near our Seattle and Shoreline territories.
Requirements to be a CAREGiver:
Good Attendance
Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
Honest desire to assist and empower seniors
Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
Be at least 21 years old
Have a high school diploma or a GED
Fluent in English (Reading, writing, speaking and listening in English)
