Technical Engineering Manager
As a Technical Engineering Manager, you will provide analytical support of line operations throughout the company. Detailed Description
- Analytical Support of Line Operations throughout all Niagara Plants
- Utilize system tools to analyze efficiencies of current line operations
- Identify high-level risk areas within each line by site
- Encourage root cause corrective action
- Develop automated reporting tools for management team – at each site and corporate office
- Working with Vendors in Enhancing Current System Infrastructure
- Identify opportunities within current systems
- Work with Vendors to determine compatibility with Niagara systems
- Provide recommendations to senior staff of appropriate enhancements
- Negotiate with Vendors on contracts and service agreements
- Management of System Implementation
- Develop a scope and implementation plan for each facility in line with daily operations
- Installation and integration of new and existing Niagara systems to all sites
- Ensure systems are kept up-to-date with latest versions
- Quality Control & Assurance
- Perform audits of each Niagara site at least once a year to ensure all systems are within specifications
- Attend business reviews with supplier(s) at all sites to ensure sure all systems are in compliance
- Work with plant management team and supplier(s) to address and resolve all non-conformance issues
- Training and Development
- Develop and Lead a training team and creating system experts at each site
- Ensure training of personnel on system enhancements are up-to-date.
- Work with site specific leaders in resolving system obstacles
- Create and maintain communication channels for better information flow -- Communicate relevant information to all major customers and stakeholders
- Travel Requirements: Approximately 25% of the year

- 7-10 years – Experience in Field

- Proficiency in, but not limited to:

- Able to translate data into recommendable actions to senior staff
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Self-Motivated with a proven record of taking the initiative
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Detail-Oriented with Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
- Able to execute tasks in a very dynamic and ever-changing environment
- Exercise sound judgment and ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce
- Minimum Required:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Preferred:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration
