Job Description: The Trail Crew / General Laborer will be providing assistance to a project that involves digging, scooping, and removing rocks and asphalt grindings from snow removal areas around the resort. Less than 10% of the job will be working on on-mountain trails completing brush cutting and other general maintenance.

This project is already in process and will go until weather prohibits access to the work sites.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Physical labor using a wide assortment of hand tools
  • Irrigation, Re-vegetation, and Erosion Control laborer
  • General labor for any and all projects
  • Able to be trained in the use of light equipment such as compactors, wood chippers, etc.

 Physical Work Conditions:

  • Work outdoors in a high altitude environment. Includes exposure to weather including wind, rain, snow and sun.
  • Are often exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures while working outdoors.
  • May be exposed to noise pollution due to use of machinery.
  • May work physical near others, usually within a few feet.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs, regularly, over uneven surfaces.
  • Must be able to carry heavy loads at waist and shoulder level.
  • Must be able to work in high altitudes for extended workdays.
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend frequently at the back, hip, knee and ankle.
  • Valid driver's license and 3 year clean DMV record - preferred
