Automation Personnel Services is seeking a full-time Inspector. This is a 1st shift position and will start at $12.00. Experienced candidates may be considered at a higher pay rate. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit resumes for consideration.

General Purpose of Job:
This position is responsible for the inspection and stamping of laminates after the fabrication process.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Review and understand work order.
Visually inspect each side of laminate and stack.
Wipe laminates of dust and debris using acetone if necessary.
Disposition materials with correct defect codes as specified.
Correctly identify copper weights.
Correctly verify laminate thickness using a micrometer.
Verify panel cut-size using a Vernier.
Properly inspect panel squareness using squaring table.
Scan barcode for ink stamp with correct characters.
Completes data entry in computer system.
Document all inspection information properly on 1st article document.
Maintain inspection tools and verify calibration requirements.
Maintain forklifts (chagrining and changing of batteries) and conducts safety checks on the forklifts.
Drives the company truck to make deliveries to local customers on an as needed basis.
Cross train in other areas.
Assist other operators to ensure timely shipment of product.
Maintain cleanliness of assigned work areas including equipment, tools, and work surfaces.
Use Lean/Six Sigma Methodologies to improve the process.
All employees will be required to participate in training and continuous improvement events.
Ability to work within a company registered/compliant to National and International Standards and Requirements, and contribute to those standards and requirements. For example: ISO, EICC, OSHA, etc.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
Forklift certification required.

Education and/or experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Previous inspection experience preferred.
