Local Killeen company looking for HVAC / R Technician (Commercial). The HVAC / R Technician will provide service, installation, and preventative maintenance to commercial HVAC / R equipment and systems. Looking to hire immediately!

Essential Functions: 

• Installs heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment and systems
• Inspects systems and their components for the purpose of ensuring safety, identifying necessary repairs, and providing an ongoing program of preventive maintenance
• Diagnoses problems and/or failures in heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems
• Cleans air conditioning and heating units (e.g. coils, condensation pans, drain lines, cooling towers, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring units are operating properly and at peak performance
• Repairs various items, systems and/or components of HVAC/R equipment
• Procures equipment and supplies to ensure availability of required items to complete the necessary installation/repair
• Informs personnel regarding procedures and/or status of work orders
• Maintains tools and/or equipment
• Demonstrate the ability to satisfy customers through the delivery of the company s and your personal service

Minimum Requirements: 

• Minimum 5 years commercial and industrial HVAC/R experience including but not limited to: Walk-in freezers and coolers, Reach-in freezers and coolers,  Refrigerated serving lines, Compressor and condensing unit rooms, Ice machines
• Completion of High School or GED
• EPA Certified (Universal)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience with refrigeration applications such as reach-ins, walk-ins, and ice machines
• Have the ability to stand for prolonged periods routinely, throughout the daily work schedule
• Have the ability to walk around the job site
• Have the ability to repeatedly lift irregularly shaped tools/hardware weighing 50 pounds, throughout the work day

Hours:

• Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm

Salary:

• $18.00 / hour
