Materials Coordinator (TWO OPENINGS)

Job Description:

- Develops and maintains a detailed Master Build Plan (MBP) to establish sequence and lead times of each operation/task to meet completion dates defined by contract milestones.
- Works closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Production Management and Test Management
- Ensures adequate production capacity in terms of resources and equipment are available to support production schedule.
- Provides planned release, in-shop, and completion dates to operations coordinator for program planned work orders for the initial schedule.
- Establishes phase-in dates of engineering design changes based on the work in progress (WIP)
- Records weekly status of assigned program, progress and setbacks with goals for the following week
- Implements procurement changes required as part of the Engineering Change Order (ECO)
- Plans all manufacturing orders and material requirements throughout the duration of the program
- Manages disposition of excess material and clears any material commitments when the program is completed; generates closeout reports and closes inventory

Requirements:

• Microsoft Office
• Materials/Logistics background
• Aviation or production background
• One position requires an active security clearance, the other position you must be eligible to obtain a security clearance
