Quality Manager
A reputable automotive supplier is looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join their Lapeer facility.
This individual will help drive quality in their manufacturing plant.
Major job duties:
- Responsible to assure that quality systems meet or exceed TS16949 standards
- Plan, support, and implement quality programs that require specific quality documentation (APQP, FMEA's, Control Plans, Measurement Systems analysis, PPAP's)
- Design, specifies, and installs quality control sampling systems, testing mechanisms, and equipment
- Serves as a liaison and coordinates activity between internal and external resources
- Strong communication, ability to lead and manage several complex projects simultaneously
- Ability to research, recommend, and oversee implementation of new products, materials, processes and then to be able to present the material to management
Job requirements and qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- High level of experience with product launches
- Experience managing a quality team
- Very strong PPAP experience (start to finish)
- 5+ years of experience
