About this job
Aerotek is currently hiring several forklift operators for a customer based in Canton, MD. Individuals will be working in a port on ships supporting the loading and unloading of cargo equipment. Specific responsibilities will include the following:
- Operate sit down propane forklifts to take raw materials off docks.
- Perform various maintenance tasks around the facility if candidate has that skill set - plumbing, carpentry, hvac, mechanical, welding.
- These tasks will be performed during downtime of operating forklifts.
- Perform general laborer lifting raw materials when needed.
This is a full time opportunity with a growing organization. Qualified candidates must have a background in sit-down propane forklifts and no climate controlled environment.
