Business Analyst - Cypress, CA - Full-time / Part-time

As a Business Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to provide data analysis to support, compile and report key information for operations and business objectives. Gather and document business requirements
Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for the business and clients
Communicate analysis and interpretation to appropriate audience
Produce, publish and distribute scheduled and ad-hoc client and operational reports relating to the development and performance of products, processes and technologies
Analyzes and investigates
Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise
Positions in this function conduct and manage outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning
They support short and long term operational/strategic business activities - by developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information and models
They also develop and implement effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes

 
Required Qualifications:


1+ years of experience in business/finance including analysis experience with a solid understanding of data storage structures
1+ years of Encounter/Claims experience
Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems required (Excel, Access)
Experience with Data mining
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration, related field or equivalent work experience
1+ years of experience with project methodology (requirements, design, development, test and implementation)
Knowledge of 837/5010 format for encounters
Experience in analysis of business process and workflow and providing an evaluation, benchmark and/or process improvement recommendations
