About this job

I have multiple openings for a CDL Laborer, construction laborers who are interested in traveling thoroughout the southern part of WI with a Class A CDL license.

Responsibilities will include unloading and loading equipment, digging holes, locating existing utilities, working on trench lines, preparing cable routes, feeding cable, securing the job site and placing signs where directed. Will also be responsible for any other tasks from the Operator and Foreman. Will sometimes be required to operate a backhoe, trencher, plow, box pusher, tamper.

Will be traveling 60-80% of the time. When traveling, expect to be gone M-F and home on the weekends. There is an option of out of state travel, when work is slow, or in the winter months. Out of state travel is completely voluntary. When out of state, they will be gone for 2 weeks, and then flown home for 4 days. Will be outside for long periods of time in any weather condition.

Travel in their words:
"We do tell candidates to be available for travel Monday through Friday every week and plan to be home on the weekends. We never know where the jobs may be, so we can't guarantee that anyone is home more often than not. They may get lucky and have jobs close to home for 2 months in a row, and then they may have nothing close to home for the next 3 months. There's just no way for us to know where the next project is right away and there is no guarantee the job will be right next door."

MUST HAVES:

* Must have an insurance-acceptable drivers license. (will be verified through a motor vehicle check prior to interview)
* Ability to perform hard physical labor (digging, lifting objects around 50 pounds, carrying objects)
* Experience working outside for long periods of time and long hours.
* 6+ months experience in construction, heavy landscaping, utility work, cctv work, farming
* Must be mechanically inclined and understand how to check oil in a vehicle as there will be preventative maintenance on equipment.

BEST VS AVG:

* Machine operation (tractors, heavy equipment) This will help them move up in the company if they have this experience.

* If candidates have a CDL and a decent MVR driving record they can be moved into a higher role immediately as an operator/driver and make an increased rate of pay up to $18.00 per hour.

I have multiple openings for CDL drivers/operators, I need individuals that have a Class A CDL and are ok with some manual labor, getting and out of a vehicle, hooking up tubing to tanks of oil to transfer it from holding tanks to the vehicle.

MUST HAVES:

* Current CDL Class A
* 1+ years driving experience with a insurable MVR
* able to get in and out of a vehicle and lift up to 50 lbs.
